Ousted Leader of Opposition Mick Beddoes has called on National Council for Building a Better Fiji's Head of Secretariat John Samy to reveal his own and other NCBBF members' earnings for their meetings and other allowances and payments received.
National Council for Building a Better Fiji (NCBBF) member Adi Finau Tabakaucoro revealed yesterday that Beddoes collected $100 in sitting allowances and was reimbursed $430.40 for expenses incurred which he had claimed.
Beddoes stressed John Samy should now demonstrate accountability and transparency and reveal how taxpayers’ funds have been spent.
Meanwhile, John Samy said they will reveal all the details soon.
Beddoes who lodged an official police complaint against interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama also wanted police to investigate members of the interim government, senior military officers and members of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji.
Beddoes said Police can also investigate him if they wish to do so as he was also a member of the NCBBF.
