The Fiji Retailers Association believes that it is time that there is a reduction in corporate taxes.
Association President Himmat Lodhia said that when previous budgets were announced, there were a lot of increases in duty rates and this has deterred a lot of tourists from buying goods in Fiji.
Lodhia hopes this issue is addressed in the upcoming budget.
Interim Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry will deliver the 2008 National Budget address next Friday.
