The Fiji Retailers Association would like to see a complete turn around of the economy now before there are further job losses.
Association President Himat Lodhia said he understands the situation at hand with job losses and adds that he hopes the interim regime implements their recovery mechanisms soon.
This is in reply to comments made by the Association of Banks President Laurie Melsorp at the Media Forum earlier this week that the Fiji economy is unhealthy and that there are more job losses ahead.
Lodhia adds that yes they would like to see an improvement in the tourism industry but due to political uncertainty this is not happening.
