After many criticisms, an association has come out supporting the policy changes made by the Fiji National Provident Fund.
The Fiji Retailers Association has welcomed the policy changes and President Himmat Lodhia said the basic idea behind the savings for the benefit of the members as the ultimate pension fund, has always been applauded.
The policy changes were undertaken to ensure that withdrawals from the fund are for retirement purposes only and to ensure that there is sufficient funds left when one retires.
