Interim Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) has charged some prominent people with corruption related charges which speaks of the results of the unit.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Sayed-Khaiyum stressed that no one can now stop investigations to be carried against them if FICAC takes control of the case.
Sayed-Khaiyum added that FICAC has not brought any new laws into effect but is following what has been in existence and people should stop questioning the legality of the unit.
