It is now officially confirmed that Suva Grammar School is the winner of the girls division in the Coca-Cola Suva Zone 2 Athletics competition.
The organizing committee has decided that there was an error in the results that was announced yesterday.
They said that Saint Joseph’s Secondary School won 12 gold medals and not 21 as announced earlier.
Suva Grammar School won the girls division with 16 gold, 21 silver and 9 bronze while Saint Joseph’s Secondary school finished second with 12 gold, 18 silver and 10 bronze.
A delegation led by the Assistant Principal of Saint Joseph’s Secondary School returned the girls division trophy to the Suva Grammar School principal this morning.
A complaint was filed by Suva Grammar School after the final medal tally was announced yesterday.
