Restaurant owners, pull up your socks as the Suva City Council is now working on having a food grading systems for the restaurants.
The Director Health Services, Nacanieli Kotoiwasawasa said they are also trying to work with the Health Ministry.
The Consumer Council's restaurant Hygiene campaign which ends on the 30th of this month has received about 17 complaints about restaurants in Suva, Nausori and the West since the campaign started in August.
These complaints range from being served stale food, insects and bugs in food, served with half-cooked meat, food alleged to have been cooked in left over oil, overcharged on stated food prices and restaurants operating without proper license.
