It was a rest day for the Flying Fijian camp in Apia today as the players took a day off from their busy schedule in the Pacific Nation Cup match.

Flying Fijian coach Samu Domoni Jnr led the side to a church service today where they thanked the almighty for yesterday's close 41-38 win over Tonga.

Domoni is expected to sit down with his coaching staff tomorrow and look at the video session of the Samoa and Japan game, where the PNC hosts - Samoa, were totally out played by the Cherry Blossoms.

This session will be used to plot a way to end their campaign on a high note.

The Fiji team is injury free but Domoni knows a lot of work is to be done to the side after they allowed Tonga to have an early dominance in the game yesterday.

The impact players like Kelemedi Bola, Dale Tonawai and Mosese Volavola lifted the tempo of the game when they came on in the second half which resulted in the Flying Fijians side to come from behind for a 41-38 win.

After yesterday's game, Fiji is in 1st place on the points table with 9 points and Sunday=s opponents Samoa are 3rd with 4 points.

Fiji will just need a win, or a draw or a loss with a bonus point will be enough to win the PNC title for the first time since 2006.

The Fiji and Tonga game kicks-off at 3.10pm on Sunday in Apia.
