Today is just a rest day for the Digicel Fiji 7s team as they will spend some quality time with their families and loved ones before they will assemble later this afternoon.

Yesterday they had their final training run against Wardens before they depart for Wellington.

Assistant coach Etuate Waqa said he wanted to test his combinations involving the experienced players like Osea Kolinisau and Taniela Rawaqa along with rookies Avenisi Vasuinubu, elder brother Waisea Nayacalevu and Jone Tiko.

Our National 7s team will depart Nadi at 9am tomorrow.

The Wellington 7s kicks off this Friday with Fiji's first game against Argentina at 12:44pm.

At 3.40pm Fiji will take on Tonga and in its last pool match Fiji will play Wales at 8.12pm.

The cup quarter finals will start at 1.33pm next Saturday with the cup semi finals starting at 5.35pm.

The cup final will be played at 8.30pm.
