It is a rest day for Team Fiji in the Cook Islands today as they gear up for the opening ceremony in the BCI Stadium in Tereora tomorrow afternoon.
Chef-de-Mission Patrick Bower said the team contingent from athletics, netball, squash, table tennis, boxing and golf have settled well after arriving on Saturday.
Bower said team managers have been told to remind their teams of the importance to stay focus and do the country proud.
The 2009 Mini Games will be officially opened tomorrow and the first event on Wednesday will be the men's 100 metre hurdles.
The other sports that will take the stage on the opening day are golf, lawn bowls, netball and boxing.
