It will be a chance for our guests to get a real taste of the Fijian way of welcoming in the New Year with a dunking in the sea.
That is the what guests at Nukubati Resort, situated 65 km to the North of Labasa will be getting tonight as the resort management look at heralding the new year in a special way.
Resort manager, Jennie Leewai Bourke said they have organised a huge feast where all their guests will dress up in their traditional attire to showcase diversity.
She adds that the staff has been given countries to adopt and perform the traditional dances before the big dunking.
Meanwhile, Nukubati Resort was named as the Top Luxury resort in the South Pacific on Trip Advisor a website that ranks hotels around the world.
