Turtle Island Resort in the Yasawa Islands has been listed as one of the Top Ten beaches for celebrity spotting by Reuters.
According to Reuters, an international news agency, these ratings are based on the number of times a celebrity is spotted on a particular beach.
Reuters said that Turtle Island Resort has seen pop stars like Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson take a holiday and spend time away from the public eye.
According to Reuters, the privately owned island, which allows only 28 guests at a time, sees the guest call in advance and reserve one of the island's 14 beaches, or the entire island itself.
According to the Turtle Island website, Turtle Island is a retreat for people and has been rated as one of the world's best romantic islands and is even known as the site of the "Blue Lagoon" films.
Also included in the Top Ten Beaches of the world, is Borabora in French Polynesia and Bondi Beach in Sydney.
