Residents living in Samabula, Wailoku, Delainavesi, Lami, Veisari and Togalevu should expect water disruptions today.

This is due to the low amount of raw water received at Tamavua treatment plant this morning.

It is also caused by the heavy downpour from last night that blocked the strainer at Savura and the flooding of Waimanu pumping station.

Water trucks will be carting water to these areas

Residents are advised to save rain water for other purposes.

Supply is expected to be restored from this evening.
