Residents living in high areas of Batieka, Varavu, Khalsa, Tauvegavega and Navau have been asked to store water now, as supply will be affected from the next hour.
Water Authority Spokesperson Maika Nagalu said this is due to a burst main at the Nasolo bridge, adding if supply is still coming to your taps to please store water.
Nagalu added that engineers will be turning off supply in the next hour to carry out repair works.
Supply is expected to normalise this afternoon.
