Residents of parts of Nasinu and Tamavua are expected to face water cuts from this morning due to low water levels at the Wainibuku Pumping Station.

Divisional Water Engineer Central/Eastern Samuela Tubui said the low water level is also disrupting the Tovata system.

He added that areas include Tovata, Makoi, Valelevu, Naveiwakau, Newtown, Caubati, Cunningham, Tacirua Heights, Sakoca and Savutalele are expected to be affected by this disruption.

Meanwhile, a resident of Pathik Crescent, Namadi Heights, Tamavua, Sanjay Gounder is claiming that they have been facing water cuts for the past four weeks and PWD has advised them to buy water tanks.
