The water authority of Fiji has advised people living in the Samabula, Wailoku, Savura, Delainavesi, Lami, Veisari and up to Togalevu to store water if they still have it running in their taps.
Water Authority Spokesperson, Maika Nagalu said there was a power shutdown at the Savura Pumping Station and this will affect water supply to these areas.
It’s still not clear when water supply will normalise.
