Residents living in Wailailai, Votua, Mataniqara, Vadravadra, Natalacake, Sorokoba, Vatileka, Varavu and Itatoko are being advised if water is still in your taps please store some now, as you will experience water disruptions throughout the day.
Water Authority spokesperson Maika Nagalu said this is due to a burst water main which occurred at Wailailai Flat in Ba this morning.
He said their men are fixing this water main at the moment and it is expected to complete by 3 o’clock this afternoon.
Supply is expected to normalize again to all the above areas around 6 o'clock this evening.
Meanwhile a burst water main also occurred in Sarava, Labasa that caused disruptions to Rara, Batinikama, Siberia, Vunivau and Bulileka.
Nagalu said water trucks will be carting water to the areas and supply should be normalize by this afternoon.
