Residents allegedly tampering with Water Valve
Spokesperson, Maika Nagalu said water engineers went down to Rarawai to attend to complaints made by residents and discovered this problem.
A resident, Brij Deo told Fijivillage News that about twenty families in Rarawai, Ba have been without water for the past two weeks and they have to travel about five kilometers to get water.
Meanwhile, Nagalu adds that low water levels at Wainibuku reservoir is causing low water pressure and water disruptions in areas like Cunningham, Caubati, Valelevu, Nadera, Nadawa, Tuirara, Makoi, Tovata, Nakasi, Davuilevu Housing and villages in lower Rewa Delta.
Water engineers are trying to find the cause of the low water level as residents have been urged to collect water if they still have water supply.
