Residents living in the Central/Eastern division have been advised to store water as they are expected to face water cuts from this afternoon.
Divisional Water Engineer Central/Eastern, Samuela Tubui said due to power disruptions, waters cuts are expected in the Suva/Nausori corridor, Navua, Deuba Korovou and Levuka.
He said looking at the weather situation trucks will not be carting water as it will be risky so people are reminded to store water now.
They will be setting up an operations centre in Wailoku.
