Resident living in the Nawaka area in Nadi are concerned on why it is taking it so long for the Public Water Departments to restore their water supply.
Concerned resident Sikandar Khan said close to 200 people live in the area and they have now turned to creeks and rivers to get their water.
Khan added that PWD promised to only take 48 hours to fix the Vaturu Dam but it seems they are taking longer than expected.
Meanwhile, PWD spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said they will restore water supply back to 70 percent of the Nadi resident after 1pm today.
Waqainabete added the whole of Nadi will expect water to be restored tonight.
