Residents in the Northern Division have raised concern on the bad road conditions, as they face difficulties in travelling to town and students have to walk over 10km to their schools.
A resident Ramesh Prasad said PWD officials have neglected repair works on roads in their interior areas like Nabekavu, Wailevu just outside Labasa town.
Also, the Health Officers in the Northern Division have been deployed to various areas to look into the diarrhoea and typhoid cases.
General Manager Community Health, Sister Selina Waqa said they have treated most of diarrohea and typhoid cases.
Sister Waqa also added that their officers are advising people about diarrohea and typhoid and they would also be working with their stakeholders.
