Residents in Field 40 Lautoka spent the day cleaning up the remains of their temple which was completely burnt down with all its contents yesterday morning.
Speaking to Fijivillage news President of the Gangai-Yamman Kovil Mandir Rajendra Mani said the community is moving ahead to try and restore their temple.
Mani said the Indian High Commission Officials are expected to visit the site tomorrow.
Police are still looking for the group of man who broke into a Temple in Field 40 Lautoka and later set it alight yesterday morning.
Divisional Crime Officer Western, SP Vijay Singh confirms that Police investigations continue and no arrests have been made so far.
The temple which was built 80 years ago completely burnt down with all its contents yesterday morning. Police believe that the thugs were looking for money and when they did not find any, they set the Temple alight.
