People in Nasinu have lost faith in the Nasinu Town Council and the Public Works Department after numerous calls to repair the poor road conditions have not been answered.
Fijivillage spoke to people from Caubati, Narere and Muanikoso who stressed those roads had been in pathetic condition for several years now.
When Fijivillage contacted Nasinu Mayor Rajeshwar Kumar, he reminded people that the town council is not responsible for the repair of roads in Nasinu and it is the Public Works Department's responsibility.
PWD Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said she will inform us later today on the particular roads in Nasinu that have to be repaired by them.
