Residents living around the Wailoku and Lami areas are frustrated with the services provided by the Public Works Department as they continue to face water cuts.
Sarita, a resident of Wailoku, said that when they request for water to be delivered in their area sometimes the reply that they get is water cannot be delivered in their area and if water is being supplied, some residents are left waiting.
Due to low water levels at the Waimanu reservoir, areas in Lami, Delainavesi, Wailoku and Veisari areas continue to face water cuts for the last two week.
Meanwhile, some parts of Ba town are currently faced with water shortage which started at 2pm this afternoon due to power shutdown.
Water Supply Supervisor, Kaminieli Vunivasi confirms areas around Namosau, Tauvegavega, Sarava, Nailaga and town areas are without water.
Water supply is expected to be restored by tonight.
