An 86 year old resident of Old People's Home has been waiting for the past three years for her family members to take her home.

Chand Kuar who was separated with her children twenty years ago after her husband's death said that she went to look for a job at the home three years ago and have been staying there since then.

Kuar who has five children vaguely remembers spending Christmas with her children. She said that she could only do a little for her children for Christmas as money was tight during those days.

She lost both her parents when before reaching the age of eleven and got married when she was thirteen years old.

She said one of her children came to visit her once and she told him to take her from there however no one ever came for her.

Meanwhile, Sister in Charge, Rucy Naikambia had earlier said that that the residents will be entertained and treated with breakfast and lunch on Christmas day.
