Residents of Tamavua and nearby areas who continue to face water cuts may have some relief as the Water department is expected to start refilling the new reservoirs installed in Suva from the end of this month.
Divisional Water Engineer Central/Eastern Sereicocoko Yanuyanurua said they are hoping to fill two by next month and the other three by August this year.
However, he said this may not fully resolve the water problems.
Concerns have been raised that new reservoirs were constructed last year, however, they are still empty.
