The Koronivia Research Station is expected to have it's own feed mill by the end of this year.
A $827,000 worth of feed mill foundation for the construction of the feed mill was laid last week at the Koronivia Research station.
The Ministry of Agriculture Permanent Secretary, Colonel Mason Smith said in order to have healthy livestock, they must be given the right types of feed and the feed mill will be of an importance in this respect.
Colonel Smith added that the feed mill will also assist a lot during times of natural disaster.
The feed mill has been designed by the Land Water Resource Management engineers and is expected to be ready by December.
