There is a need to allocate more funds for reproductive health commodities.
Those were the words of the Pacific Sub Regional Director and UNFPA Representative Najib Assifi while launching the series of UNFPA publications at the Holiday Inn last night.
The United Nations Population Pacific Sub Regional Office launched a series of publication aimed at providing guidelines in terms gender reproductive health and rights, achieving the millennium development goals.
Assifi also said that the publication contains findings and shows what approaches work well.
These documents were published after research work done on 10 pacific Island Countries including Fiji, Tuvalu, Papua New Guinea, Cook Island, Kiribati, Niue, Tonga, Federated States of Micronesia, Samoa, Solomon and Vanuatu.
