Vodafone Fiji 7s player Jarryd Hayne said representing Fiji in this weekend's London Sevens at Twickenham will be a dream come true.
The 28‑year‑old is set to make his rugby debut after being named in Fiji's 12‑man squad.
Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan said Hayne is fitting in well to his squad, which only needs to make the quarter‑finals this weekend to secure back‑to‑back World Series victories.
Ryan also said Hayne has trained well.
Jarryd Hayne said he has always dreamt about playing sevens for Fiji.
Hayne said his Dad is Fijian and they watched a lot of Waisale Serevi games, and William Ryder was his biggest idol.
He said he has played for many different teams at the highest level and Fiji is a special nation and a special country to play for.
Meanwhile, Ben Ryan named his side last night for the London 7s.
The team sees the new inclusion of Hayne and the return of Masivesi Dakuwaqa and Viliame Mata.
Pio Tuwai and Vatemo Ravouvou have been ruled out due to injury.
The Vodafone Fiji 7s team play their first match against host England at 11.04pm tonight then Wales at 1.48am Sunday morning and Australia at 4.54am.
