There has been more positive indication from the Western Division that more people have endorsed the draft People’s Charter and also supports its process.

Commissioner Western's Office spokesperson Waisale Tora revealed that out of 63,217 response forms distributed, more than 60,000 have supported the Charter and 1315 have agreed subject to amendment while 1291 did not agree.

Tora said this increase clearly reflects the dedication from the awareness and consultation teams after visiting the western districts.

Meanwhile Tora added some reports received that most of their tasks were disturbed by dogs when the teams do their visits to households.
