These are the words of an academic, Dr Biman Prasad who was one of the editors of a book, Media and Development: Issues and Challenges in the Pacific Islands which was launched today.
Prasad said the book contains articles that journalists ought to understand and advance if they want to contribute to development and nation building.
Some of the authors of the book are Judge Justice Nazhat Shameem, Professor Ron Duncan, Professor Paresh Narayan, Nicole Gooch, Lisa Williams-Lahari and Father Kevin Barr.
