Technicians working around the clock to provide electricity to people and replacing stolen cables is costing the FEA hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The Acting CEO, Sunil De Silva said these are the main costs they are incurring.
Meanwhile, De Silva is calling on people to have patience and bear with the FEA as they are also doing all it takes to see that it is safe for the public when they switch on the power lines.
