While classes for Term Two started two days ago, the Education Ministry wishes to assure parents and students of Delaiverata District School, in Matuku, that replacement teachers will be boarding the MV Iloilovatu tonight at 7.
Minister Filipe Bole said that they are working tirelessly and all schools will be fully staffed soon and is calling on parents and school committees to exercise a little patience and understanding.
He said the District Senior Education Officers have been liaising closely with school managements and have assigned officers to temporarily head the schools until substantive appointments are made through advertisements.
