The Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) is expected to start saving millions of dollars with several of its renewable energy projects and power purchasing agreements coming online soon.
Acting CEO Sunil de Silver said they have a number of projects currently underway.
De Silver said this will help save an estimated $100 to $150 million allowing lesser use of diesel to provide electricity.
