The Civil Servants in Fiji from 35 participating agencies were reminded to remove the bad reputation that is common amongst them.
That was re-iterated by Prime Minister, Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama at the 2010 Service Excellence Awards last night.
He said he had already highlighted to them last year to change their attitude as the members of the public want to see a professional standard in their service.
Out of the 37 agencies, only 35 participated and were assessed by 184 evaluators who were allocated to teams of four to each evaluate an agency.
As part of the evaluator award, three people were recognized on their commitment and achievement.
The three includes Mereseini Waibuta and Acting Chief Economist with the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Sekove Tamanitoakula, Senior Economic Planning Officer also with the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ana Tora, Acting Senior Adminstrative Officer with the Department of Immigration.
