Mothers around the country should be remembered for all the hard work and effort they put in to keep the family together.

This is the view of Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre coordinator, Shamima Ali who said the fact that tomorrow is a special day set aside for mothers, it being Mothers Day, should be a lesson to all of us.

Speaking from Tonga this afternoon, Shamima Ali said if one looks back in history, Mother’s Day was set aside as a day of peace from war or from fighting and therefore is calling that the same be done tomorrow.
