As relevant organisations are working out ways to help the poor and unfortunate children to complete their studies, a religious organisation from Nausori has stepped forward and assisted six students of Koronivia who were finding difficulties in getting back to school.
Koronivia based Shri Ram Navyuak Ramayan Mandali distributed more than $1000 amongst six students who will now be able to buy stationeries and uniforms and pay school fees for themselves.
Mandali's President, Ajesh Singh said people and organisations should not only rely on Governments assistance, but should take some initiatives themselves and help the poor in our community.
Naleen Navneet Maharaj who is one of the recipients of the assistance said he was facing problems in going back to school this year and the help will solve his problems for the rest of the year.
