New Interim Public Enterprise Minister and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said he will not deal directly with his brother who is the Fiji Broadcasting Cooperation CEO on company matters.
Sayed-Khaiyum made the comment after some questions were raised on conflict of interest regarding his new appointment as Interim Public Enterprise Minister when his brother, Riyaz is the CEO of a public enterprise entity.
The Interim Minister stresses that the performance of any CEO in any government entity will be dealt with by the board and not the minister responsible.
