These are the words of Fiji Fish Managing Director, Grahame Southwick on the move by the European Union to reject fish exports from Fiji.
Southwick said the rejection is a result of the attitude of the government towards the fishing industry, as he said the EU had warned Fiji a number of times.
Southwick said our fish has never been below standard.
The European Union and the Interim Government are expected to comment later today.
It has been reported that according to one of the Official Journals of the European Union that there were risks associated with tuna from Fiji and a rapid alert system for food and feed notification was issued following food poisoning of about 7 people in France after eating Fiji tuna.
