A new rehabilitation program is being implemented in the north, six months before the release of inmates, work is done to secure a future for them once they are released.
Yellow Ribbon coordinator Isireli Dausiga said a lot of work and initiative has been undertaken in the central division and now the focus is on the north and Rotuma.
Last month, the Correctional Services in Suva, along with the assistance from the Tui Tamavua, managed to secure a piece of land for a 52 year old inmate who had just been released.
