A 26 year old registry clerk employed under the Police Prosecutions Office in the southern division appeared before Magistrate Aruna Prasad today charged with fraudulent conversion.
Cathy Rodan of Lami today asked the court to seek a lawyer from the Legal Aid Commission to make changes to the charges.
The court heard Rodan was looking after the staff's Christmas party funds when she used the money.
Between December 2006 to July last year, Rodan is alleged to have used $700 worth of funds.
The hearing is adjourned to the 28th of this month where 6 witnesses will be called to court.
