Referees decision was challenged by fans at Churchill Park yesterday in the National Football League match between Rewa and Lautoka.

Referee of the match Ravitesh Bihari confirmed to Fijivillage this morning that he showed a red card to a Lautoka player in the 90th minute which many Lautoka fans did not like.

Bihari said as he walked out of the field, many fans yelled at him and also some plastic bottles were thrown from the grandstand but he managed to walk past safely.

Bihari will be handing his reports to the Fiji Football Association today.

Fiji FA is expected to comment on the issue later today.
