The referee who failed to award Ukraine a goal in their 1-0 defeat to England will take no further part at Euro 2012.
Ukraine believed they had equalised when the shot had crossed the goal-line, but England defender, John Terry cleared and the goal was not awarded.

FIFA president Sepp Blatter wrote on Twitter after the incident that goal-line technology is now a necessity.

Meanwhile, the first quarter-final will be played tomorrow at 6.45am where Portugal will take on Czech Republic.
