TFL customers can now expect across the board reduction in charges for services with significant reductions in internet charges expected soon.

This was announced by TFLs acting Chief Eexecutive Officer Sakeasi Seru this afternoon at a press conference.

Seru said that as soon as TFL has direct access to the Southern Cross Cable in about three months time, internet costs are expected to be reduced by 30% to 50%.

However, after the Commerce Commissions determination that the reduction be effective from the 1st of next month, TFL's initial reduction cost on their services will be 10%.

This after the recent determination by the Commerce Commission to reduce wholesale prices for international bandwidth which TFL has warmly welcomed.
