There is some good news on the injury front for the Reds who welcomed back three key players for Saturday's Super Rugby semi final against the Blues in Brisbane.

The Queenslanders have been severely hampered by a spate of injuries in recent weeks so the return of Wallaby backs Digby Ioane and Anthony Faingaa as well as flanker Beau Robinson from injury will come as massive boost.

Reds coach Ewen McKenzie said the trio were vital to his plans.

In the first Super 15 semifinal this Saturday, the Blues meet the Reds at 9:40pm.

On Sunday at 3:05am the Stormers host the Crusaders in Cape Town.
