The Reds became the first team to qualify for the 2011 Super Rugby play offs in three weeks time after the Waratahs failed to beat the Bulls in Pretoria.

The Reds are on 58 points now and cannot be caught by the Waratahs who are on 47 points.

This also means that the Reds will win the Australian Super Rugby conference.

The Stormers is on second position with 57 points, Blues on third spot with 55 points and will play the Crusaders who is on fourth place with 53 points on Saturday.

Other teams in the race for the play-offs are Sharks, Bulls and Waratahs.

On Friday night at 7.35pm the Chiefs host the Hurricanes.
