The Reds want to re write the record books this weekend in front of a packed Suncorp Stadium crowd by beating the Bulls to make it six wins in a row.

Never before has a Reds side won six games straight and only three times before have the Reds won five in a row.

In front of a passionate South African crowd, the Reds stunned the locals and the Stormers with an incredible display of tactical rugby to run out 19-6 winners.

Reds Captain James Horwill summed it up when he said the boys had talked the talked then walked the walk to beat the Stormers at their own game.

Queensland and Wallaby legend Tim Horan described the effort as simply the best defence effort in five or six years and one of the best games of Super Rugby this season.

The win puts the Reds at the top of the Super Rugby competition table with the Crusaders, a feat not achieved by the Reds since 1999.

Meanwhile, Brumbies winger Henry Speight is facing six weeks on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury in Saturday night's win over the Hurricanes.

Speight will have a scan today that will confirm the ankle ligament damage and determine the length of the injury.
