The family of Shalit Reddy who died in Samoa while on a tour with the Vodafone Fiji Under-17 soccer team in January is not satisfied with answers from the Fiji Football Association in relation to Reddy’s death.
Muni Shalit Reddy drowned in Samoa while on an excursion with the team.
A relative, Deepak Somaya said Fiji FA officials only presented them a report which contained the statements of the coach and officials.
He said they were also shown a Police and Health Center report from Samoa where Reddy was pronounced dead but there was no post mortem report.
Somaya said they want to know why a post mortem was not conducted.
He added that representatives of the Fiji FA who visited the family at their home last week also told them that the players of the team were not insured.
We sent questions to Fiji FA CEO, Bob Kumar last Tuesday and are still waiting for a response.
When contacted today, Kumar said he will give an interview tomorrow.
