Reddy wins Radio Sargam Christmas cake comp
After winning the competition Reddy said she always had interest in cooking and was always encouraged by her husband.
She also said Christmas for her is to spend time with her family.
Meanwhile a 17 year old student of Lautoka, Angeline won the second prize and she walked away with $200 cash.
According to Angeline, her aunt inspired her to bake.
The winners were selected on the criteria of how many local products were used to bake the cake, how healthy it is and how it was displayed.
Meanwhile, it was an early Christmas Gift for Taunovo housewife, Suliasi Ceu, who was awarded $200 dollars for coming second in the Pudding competition that was held on our sister station Viti FM.
Ceu was shocked when her name was announced and said that she did not believe that she would win a prize.
It was also the first time for the 47 year old mother to enter such a competition, and considering the distance she travelled to get her Pudding to Suva, Ceu believes it was worth the effort.
The first prize of $300 went to Akosita Lanyon of Makoi.
