20 year old Daveshkar Reddy of Lautoka is making his mark in local Tennis competition after he won the Sportsworld Easter Championship yesterday.

Reddy who also is a National rep defeated Valu Fa of Suva in two straight sets 6-0 and 7-6.

Reddy is in top form and has claimed the title of Fiji's number one tennis player by winning all his matches from the beginning of this year.

In the semi-finals yesterday, Reddy beat last years Champion Chris Hargrove 6-0 and 6-1.

Two weeks ago Reddy also won the Suva open.
